Jungle Circle

JUNGLE CIRCLE – meets the fourth Tuesday of the month, September through May, at 1:00 PM at the Garden Club Center.

Jungle circle, founded in 1929, is the oldest circle in the Garden Club of St Petersburg.  We have a strong interest in horticulture and have a committee specifically dedicated to helping members learning to grow in Florida.  We visit each other’s gardens and exchange plants.   Jungle Circle has a Facebook page for sharing photos and garden experiences.  The circle focuses on raising plants for the annual plant sale and flea market.

Jungle Circle maintains the Bromeliad Garden on the Club grounds in Coconut Park.  Circle members are active in the annual St Petersburg Green Thumb Festival providing horticultural specimens for show; some of our members compete successfully in the Festival’s arranging flower show.

We send monthly updates to our members though our newsletter Jungle Drums.  Our regular meeting is at noon on the 4th Tuesday of the month where we have speakers with a horticultural or environmental interest.

New members and guest are always welcome at Jungle Circle meetings and events.
