Flower Arranging Circle

 

FLOWER ARRANGING CIRCLE meets at the garden center on the third Wednesday of the month, September through May at 9:30 AM for coffee and socializing with the meeting at
10 AM.

This circle’s primary interest is floral design, both traditional and creative, particularly for competition.  Meetings focus on instructions, demonstrations and workshops on floral design, accenting the teachings of Bob Thomas.  Participation in the annual flower show is the ultimate goal, as well as personal enjoyment.  Members also exhibit floral designs at the Museum of Fine Arts as part of “Art in Bloom”, the Strawberry Festival and other events.  Circle members support and participate is all Garden Club activities such as the flea market and plant sale and maintain the wild flower garden.  Members also donate Christmas gifts to a local young woman’s facility.  New members with an interest in floral design are welcome.
