Community Outreach
The Garden Club of St. Petersburg hosts multiple fundraising events. The funds members raise from your generous donations as well as the Plant Sale, Christmas Recycle Plus Plus Sale, and Flea Market enable the members to be active in our community outreach projects. This is only made possible by the volunteer hours of service by all our members.

Members donate once a year during the holidays to Brookwood Florida, Inc. Located in St. Petersburg, the non - profit residential facility for at-risk girls between 13 and 20 years of age, provides programs allowing teens to attend area schools, work in local businesses, and participates in the recreational offerings of the city. The teens work with caseworkers on independent living skills acquisition while receiving mental health counseling from Brookwood’s clinicians. The teams of youth care workers cover 24 hours of supervision and behavioral redirection. Their residents are nurtured and guided toward improved function on all levels.

Brookwood celebrates over 90 years of service & strives to maintain quality programming.
