You are invited to participate in the GCSP’s annual flower show at the Green Thumb Festival. The Theme for the 2027 show will be revealed in Late 2026!
The show is an opportunity for members to showcase their creativity and skills in floral design, crafts and photography. Our varied horticulture displays not only show off our green thumbs, they educate others on the wide variety of plants that grow here in Pinellas County.
This judged NGC standard flower show is an opportunity to be rewarded with blue ribbons, top exhibitor awards and be recognized by the public who vote for the People’s Choice Awards. Their favorites are rarely the same as the judges’ picks.
Below are the specific descriptions and rules for each of the areas you might want to enter an exhibit. These are called schedules. All entries must be registered on the forms below or are available at all GCSP General Meetings and from Jan Ankerberg, Flower Show Chair.
There are other ways to participate in the show without having to enter an exhibit. Volunteers are needed on Thursday and Friday to help transform the Walter Fuller gymnasium into a beautiful display. On Friday afternoon, Volunteer clerks assist the judges and place the indicated ribbons. Saturday and Sunday provide opportunites to engage with those looking at the exhibits and have some great conversations with others who may be as equally passionate about gardening, floral design and crafts.
Online registration for Multiple Plantings and Unusual Containers are included in the Horticulture Online Registration above. They are in Section Two of that form. Use the Download Form below to obtain a paper entry form.
