Annual Events

Each year Garden Club of St. Petersburg hosts multiple fundraising events. The funds we raise from the Plant Sale, Christmas Recycle Plus Plus Sale, and Flea Market, enable us to engage in community outreach projects, operating funds and programs. Flea Market

Thursday, February 23 - Saturday, February 25, 2023

Our annual flea market takes place at our Garden Center Thursday through Saturday. There will be a preview event with wine and cheese on Thursday evening. The entry is $5 for the preview night. Friday and Saturday admission is FREE! Come early for the best selection. The Flea Market has a variety of treasures from jewelry to antiques. There will be plants for sale.

  • Preview - Thursday, February 23rd from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Wine & Cheese served)
  • Sale Day - Friday, February 24th from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Sale Day - Saturday, February 25th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Green Thumb Festival and Flower Show

Date: April 29th and 30th, 2023

Time: 9 AM to 4 PM

Location: Walter Fuller Park, 7891 26th Ave. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710

St. Petersburg's annual Arbor Day Celebration, the Green Thumb Festival, brings together plant and flower lovers, as well as, individuals and families looking for a fun weekend activity. With more than 120 garden, plant and flower vendors and exhibitors, the annual event brings the community together for a weekend of fun.

Monthly Events

To better meet the needs and interests of the membership, the club meets in small group gatherings each month. All gatherings focus on different aspects of gardening and offer a variety of different experiences and special activities throughout the year. Our monthly group gatherings are open to all and meet on different weekdays and different times throughout the month.
