The Garden Club of St. Petersburg promotes the love of gardening, floral and landscape design and civic and environmental responsibility by providing education, resources and networking opportunities for our members, youth and the community.

The Garden Club of St. Petersburg, Inc. (GCSP) promotes an interest in and appreciation for gardening, floral design, horticulture, landscape design, and conservation. We provide over 75 unique activities for education, community outreach, youth mentoring, and social get-togethers annually. See our calendar of events for details. Guests and new members are always welcome.
The City of St. Petersburg’s Coconut Park is home to the Garden Club. Our members maintain the Park, which features five distinct gardens: Bromeliad, Butterfly, Japanese, Native, and Tropical Patio. These beautiful gardens and our building, which accommodates up to 200 guests, make our site a premier venue for weddings, birthday and anniversary parties, and Celebrations of Life.
(Note: The facility is currently undergoing Hurricane Restoration with a projected mid- 2026 return.)
Our signature event is a National Garden Club Standard Flower Show, held in April during the City’s Green Thumb Festival and Arbor Day Celebration at Walter Fuller Park.
Mark your calendar for our fundraisers— October’s Big Plant Sale, November’s Holiday Recycle Sale, and February’s Home & Garden Market.
During building renovation, most meetings are held at Azalea Park Recreation Center (1600 72nd Street N). Join us on Mondays at 10 am and on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 pm.
