Garden Club of St. Petersburg
Community Outreach
The Garden Club of St. Petersburg hosts multiple fundraising events. The funds members raise from your generous donations as well as the Plant Sale, Christmas Recycle Plus Plus Sale, and Flea Market enable the members to be active in our community outreach projects. This is only made possible by the volunteer hours of service by all our members.

Garden Therapy At Nursing Homes

Members work with the Nursing Home Activities Director in planning a garden therapy event with residents of the nursing home. Ferns and spider plants are donated for residents to plant in a pot for their room. Garden Club members furnish the pots, potting soil, and plants and assist the residents.
